Step 1/6: Let's get started
Step 1/6: Let's get started

Registering or renewing a membership

  1. 'Current' members - if you rowed with us recently, just choose the RENEW button.
You do not need to log-in to renew your membership.
  2. 'Novices'  - choose the NEW MEMBER button and then the “Novice” option from the list of membership options in step 2. Novices are those members who have recently completed a Learn-to-Row course and want to test the waters further before signing onto full membership. The fee includes insurance, tuition and equipment and the Rowing WA Capitation fee – for 3 months.
  3. 'New to CBRC' members - choose the REGISTER button. For those who are transferring membership from another Club or have rowed at sometime in the past.

Regardless of whether you are a new member or renewing a long standing membership, please note:

  • There are a few questions we need you to answer - some are from our governing bodies (Rowing WA & Rowing Australia) that will provide data with the intention of growing the sport, and others are required for the Club and for your safety.
  • Your application for membership/renewal will be processed by the Registrar and you will receive an invoice for your fees; ie. the CBRC membership fee plus any optional fees you have requested (e.g. seat fees, locker, private storage, insurance, etc.).
  • Membership fees are due in full by end of October - if necessary, payment plans (eg: quarterly) can be arranged by contacting our Treasurer.
  • Membership fees do not include seat fees. The Club is invoiced after each regatta for participants' seat fees. Note: each competitive member needs to prepay seat fees for the season and have a credit in their seat fee account before registering to participate in any regatta, either local or national.

Once registered, a welcome email will be sent to you that will: (i) acknowledge the payment, and (ii) provide you with any other relevant information. If you do not receive the email, check your email's junk folder or contact our Treasurer for assistance.
