“Learn to Row” is a 4-morning course held at the Murdoch Rowing Club at the Canning Bridge boat shed (Mt Pleasant). These courses start at 7:00am Saturday mornings and run for about an hour and a half. More information & registration can be found on the L2R web-site.

We will teach you the basic technical aspects of rowing, so that you feel comfortable on the river to just enjoy “being” on the river. The water on the Canning River is some of the prettiest and protected in Perth.

After you have completed one of our learn to row courses you will have learned enough to row in a crew either for a fun outing when you want to or to row regularly for fitness (and maybe to lose extra kilos).

Come on your own, with a friend or in a group – it doesn’t matter. At our Learn to Row courses we welcome participants from all corners of the community, all walks of life, all shapes and sizes (ages 18-70).
